Mood was founded with a single mission in mind: to spread the word that we are more than our physical bodies!

Founder
Carrie Moss founded MOOD Aura Nomad (formerly MOOD by MOSS) in 2016. With a photography background and a seeker attitude, she was hooked by the process the moment she laid eyes on her first aura portrait.
Carrie toured the US coast to coast for four years and now heads up the Texas division of MOOD. Shortly after founding MOOD, Carrie decided to go deeper into working with the aura. After several years of study with subtle energy field leaders, Carrie is now an energy healing practitioner and an immersive meditation facilitator. Her extensive study of the human aura informs the approach that the MOOD team brings to the aura portrait interpretation.

Photographer + Interpreter
Katie Simmons has been with the MOOD team since the early days of 2017. She toured with Carrie as her assistant and was the natural choice to move into the photographer + interpreter role when MOOD decided to expand to Georgia and Tennessee.
As operator of MOOD’s satellite operation Katie brings her love of people and intrinsic “need to know attitude” to the work of understanding vibrational awareness and subtle energies. A lifelong student of the ephemeral, she’s found her niche as part of the MOOD team.

Photographer + Interpreter
With an eye towards the sublime, Lana’s work as a photographer working with the effects of, and perception of light spans over two decades. A believer in the deep connection we have to the unseen and the unknown, Lana’s study and practice of the mystical aspects of yoga and energy spans her adult life. More recently, she has devoted herself to serve others through the practice of coherence healing meditation.
Since 2018, Lana has enjoyed bringing the inner experience to light through MOOD portraits.
